This 5-day morning camp is for young bakers who are ready to go beyond the basics and dive into the art of pastry. Each day introduces a new technique and a new tradition — from buttery pie crusts to European scones to delicate Asian pastries. Breaks are built into the daily schedule so students can taste and enjoy what they've made — and everything goes home with them at the end of each day.
Throughout the week, students will work their way through an impressive lineup of pastry traditions — pie-making, European scones, Italian biscotti, and Asian-inspired sweets — building skills that will last long after camp ends.
Students will develop real pastry skills including kitchen safety, measuring, mixing methods, oven basics, recipe reading, mise en place, time management, and cleanup — with a focus on precision and technique that sets this camp apart.
Menus will be emailed the week prior to camp and a booklet of recipes will go home on the last day of camp.
