This 4-day morning camp takes children on a hands-on culinary journey through a variety of foods, flavors, and cultures. Breaks are built into the daily schedule so students can taste and enjoy what they've made — and everything goes home with them at the end of each day.
Each day has a theme, and recipes are chosen to build real kitchen skills in a fun, approachable way. Students will learn kitchen safety, equipment use, knife skills, stove and oven basics, nutrition, mise en place, recipe reading, measuring, time management, and cleanup.
Throughout the week, students will cook and bake their way through dishes like breakfast burritos, French toast, omelettes, homemade pasta, mini pizzas, Italian breadsticks, tiramisu cups, cheese quesadillas, fresh guacamole, salsa, mini muffins, cookies, and trifles — with themes spanning international breakfasts, Italian classics, Mexican favorites, and a dedicated baking day.
Menus will be emailed the week prior to camp.
