This 4-day afternoon camp is designed for older, more experienced young cooks who are ready to work with more complex techniques and more ambitious flavors. Each day has a theme, and recipes are chosen to challenge and grow real kitchen skills in a focused, hands-on environment. Breaks are built into the daily schedule so students can taste and enjoy what they've made — and everything goes home with them at the end of each day.
Throughout the week, students will cook their way through Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisines — tackling dishes that demand real precision and attention to detail.
Students will sharpen their technique in kitchen safety, equipment use, knife skills, stove and oven methods, mise en place, recipe reading, measuring, time management, and cleanup — with higher expectations at every step.
Menus will be emailed the week prior to camp and a booklet of recipes will go home on the last day of camp.
