This 4-day afternoon camp is built for older, more experienced young cooks who are ready to work with more advanced techniques and more complex flavors. Breaks are built into the daily schedule so students can taste and enjoy what they've made — and everything goes home with them at the end of each day.
Each day has a theme, and recipes are chosen to challenge and grow real kitchen skills in a focused, hands-on environment. Students will sharpen their technique in kitchen safety, equipment use, knife skills, stove and oven methods, mise en place, recipe reading, measuring, time management, and cleanup — with higher expectations at every step.
Throughout the week, students will cook their way through more ambitious dishes inspired by global cuisines — including French classics, Mexican favorites, and Asian-inspired cooking. This camp is the natural next step for students who are ready to move beyond the basics and take on a real culinary challenge.
Menus will be emailed the week prior to camp.
